Travis Ansel is the Chief Executive Officer of HSG Advisors. He leads the company’s expansion as a healthcare consultancy with a data analytics and advisory model that supports clients over the long term. Having more than 15 years with the company, Travis has worked with hundreds of healthcare leaders on strategic growth initiatives across a full range of hospital sizes, from academic medical centers to multi-hospital tertiary systems to critical access hospitals. As CEO, he drives HSG’s continued growth and industry leadership in custom data capabilities that optimize health system performance and arm healthcare executives with the ability to make informed, strategic decisions. He continues to play a hands-on role with clients and HSG’s experienced leadership team, providing ongoing consulting to healthcare leaders on their provider and market strategies. His consulting focus centers around a health system’s outpatient and ambulatory strategy, physician and staff development, and employed provider network performance.
Prior to HSG, Travis held management consulting positions in a variety of leading firms. He earned dual Bachelor of Science Degrees in Finance and Business Management from the University of Tennessee at Knoxville, and a Master of Business Administration from Vanderbilt University, Nashville, Tennessee. Travis is a sought-after speaker and a member of numerous industry organizations, including the American College of Healthcare Executives. Under Travis’ leadership, HSG was honored to receive a Top 20 Healthcare Consultancy ranking by Modern Healthcare in 2023.
