Job Summary:
The role of Business Development Manager is pivotal in driving HSG’s growth strategy. This position not only focuses on acquiring new clients but also on deepening relationships with existing ones. The Business Development Manager is responsible for identifying and capitalizing new opportunities, crafting client-centric business development plans, and collaborating with HSG’s consulting and client leadership teams to execute these strategies effectively.
Responsibilities:
New Client Outreach
- Lead the development of HSG’s approach to verticals within the healthcare space – focusing on hospitals, health systems, hospital associations and physician practices.
- Support targeted outreach to potential clients leveraging client-specific data sets and messaging on an ongoing basis.
Client Business Development Planning
- Work with HSG’s consulting and client leadership teams to develop and execute comprehensive strategies for relationship expansion focusing on critical client needs and maximizing client return-on-investment.
Salesforce Maintenance
- Lead HSG’s efforts to maintain accurate information related to its clients and potential clients
- Document client outreach and other client interactions within Salesforce environment
- Lead HSG white space development and maintenance efforts for target and existing client array
Sales Enablement Support
- Develop and maintain standard HSG business development materials and providing assistance in tailoring materials to specific business development efforts.
Business Development Metric Reporting
- Maintain performance metrics and reporting related to business development
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Healthcare Administration, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- 3-5+ years of experience related to business development; experience in healthcare consulting and/or healthcare analytics is strongly preferred.
- Experience with Salesforce is required
- Experience with Tableau is preferred.
Work Environment:
HSG offers a Hybrid Work model approach with limited requirements for in-office presence, which will be focused on initial onboarding and for company events.
